Participating in a trade show is a big deal. It’s like training for a race, a tournament or any big event. Then, suddenly, it’s here…it’s go time! A trade show is well worth the money that you’ll pony up for travel, labor, brochures, promos and signage ̶ provided that you have an impressive presence.

Walk through any exhibit hall and look at participating companies, and you’ll instantaneously get a sense of who is ready for the bigtime and who’s not. And it’s not about who has a 30’ x 30’ booth or who is in a 10’ inline space. It’s about how they present!

If you’ve got a trade show coming up, how confident are you about your presence? Think about the following for a moment:
Business cards • Banners • Brochures • Promotional items • Tabletop displays • eBlast announcement

If all of your materials are beautifully branded, you feel pretty good when you consider this short bulleted list. If you have a queasy feeling in your stomach, it means you’re not ready for prime time. It’s okay, there’s time to fix it. But, if your company is spending money for staff to be out of office – to press the flesh, grow your reputation and create sales opportunities – do it right! You don’t need a large trade show budget, but attention to detail is a must. If you’re preparing for a trade show and feel less than 100 percent confident, call Dawn of Designs. We’ve worked with companies for more yearsthan I care to admit, and one thing is certain – every client shows up to their trade shows looking great and ready to sell!
